Release notes for this version of the Netscape Communicator are
available online.  After starting Communicator, select "Release
Notes" from the "Help" menu. This will take you to the following

All the New Features and the Known Problems of this release are
listed there. 

To submit bugs or other feedback, select Product Information 
and Support from the Help menu. 

If for some reason you cannot submit feedback using that
form, you may send email to mac_cbug@netscape.com.  Please
be as specific as possible about the version of Netscape
Communicator you are using, as well as your hardware information
and which version of System software you're using.  Be sure to include
a test case for the problem, including a URL if possible.


Installation Instructions

As always, it's considered good practice to temporarily
disable any virus detection software or non-essential
Extensions or Control Panels prior to installing new
software on your Macintosh.

1. Download the .hqx or .bin file to your Macintosh.  If you are
using Netscape Communicator to download the software and your machine is
correctly configured, Netscape Communicator will automatically run the
correct program to decode the .hqx or .bin file.  If not, you will
need to use one of the many utilities which can decode .hqx
or .bin files, we recommend something in the StuffIt
family of products, such as "StuffIt Expander."

2. To install Netscape Communicator 4.04, open the
folder Com4.04_PPC or Com4.04_68k. Open the Netscape Installer folder and
run the Netscape Installer.
